Terms of Service

Revision: 2026-07-24 — when this document changes, every user is asked to review and re-accept before continuing to use Live Ping™.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Live Ping LLC, a Kentucky limited liability company ("Live Ping™," "we," "us"), governing your use of the Live Ping™ website and mobile applications (the "Platform").

1. Eligibility

You must be 18 years of age or older and able to form a binding contract. You must complete identity verification before transacting for real money. The Platform is currently available only in supported areas.

2. What Live Ping™ is

Live Ping™ is an online marketplace connecting "Buyers" who request short, location-verified photos or videos of a place, object, event, or condition with independent "Pingers" who choose to travel there and capture the requested media. Live Ping™ is a neutral venue. We are not the author, capturer, employer, agent, or joint venturer of any Pinger, and we do not create, own, or control the media captured. Pingers are independent contractors, not employees.

3. How a job works

A Buyer posts a request — location, media type, length, quality, instructions, and an offer price (minimum $1.00), with optional add-ons such as an acting skit. A Pinger with a pre-verified device that meets the request's standard may accept. Payment is authorized into escrow when the request is posted; after delivery, the capture's geo-stamp is verified against the pinned location before the Buyer can release payment. Funds are then released to the Pinger, less Live Ping™'s fee.

4. Prices and fees

The Buyer sets the price, subject to the $1.00 minimum. Live Ping™ charges a flat 2% platform fee, plus any disclosed processing amounts. Optional programs — such as wishlist auto-pricing (an offer that rises to your set ceiling until accepted, with unaccepted requests expiring and the full hold returned) and the Live Ping™ Plus membership — are described in the Platform and charged only as disclosed. You authorize us and our payment processor to charge your payment method for amounts you agree to.

5. Payments

Payments, payouts, and seller onboarding are handled by a third-party payment processor (Stripe) through connected accounts. Funds flow from the Buyer to the Pinger; Live Ping™ receives its platform fee and does not take custody of the Buyer's full payment. Use of payment features is also subject to the processor's terms.

6. Prohibited requests and conduct

You agree not to use the Platform to request, capture, or deliver anything that (a) targets, surveils, follows, tracks, or records a specific identifiable person without consent; (b) depicts a private residence associated with a named individual, or any place where a person has a reasonable expectation of privacy; (c) requires trespass; (d) involves sensitive locations except as expressly permitted; (e) is illegal, harassing, sexual, exploitative, dangerous, or infringing; or (f) violates the Acceptable-Use Policy, incorporated by reference. Pingers may decline any request for any reason.

7. Identity verification

Both Buyers and Pingers must complete government-ID and liveness verification before transacting for real money. Exploring the demo does not require verification.

8. Recording, consent, and local law

You are solely responsible for complying with all applicable recording-consent, wiretap, privacy, publicity, drone, and trespass laws where a capture occurs. Capture public scenes; do not record identifiable individuals where prohibited.

9. Media, license, and 7-day deletion

Delivered media is provided to the Buyer for the use described in the request and is automatically deleted from Live Ping™'s servers 7 days after delivery — download what you want to keep. You grant Live Ping™ a limited license to host, process, scan for safety, transmit, and store media as needed to operate the Platform and comply with law. Transaction, audit, safety, and dispute records may be retained per the Privacy Policy.

10. Ratings, disputes, and refunds

If a delivery does not meet the request, the Buyer may open a dispute within the review window; funds remain held pending resolution. The geo-stamp, timestamps, and live-track record serve as evidence. Outcomes may include full release, partial refund, a free re-capture, or full refund.

11. Safety tools

Live trip tracking, SOS, trusted-contact sharing, and reporting are aids, not guarantees. In an emergency, call 911 first.

12. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not warrant the accuracy, legality, quality, or safety of any request, capture, Pinger, or Buyer. Recommendations and suggested prices are conveniences and estimates only, not endorsements or guarantees.

13. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LIVE PING™ WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS OR DATA. Total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of the fees Live Ping™ earned on the transaction at issue or $100 (subject to applicable law).

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Live Ping™ and its officers, members, and agents against claims arising from your requests, captures, content, conduct, or violations of these Terms or law.

15. Governing law; changes; termination

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. We may update these Terms and will post the new effective date, and may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the Acceptable-Use Policy.
